NigmaTV with IPTV Smarters Pro: Full Setup Guide

IPTV Smarters Pro is one of the most widely used IPTV player apps, and it is one of the players we recommend for NigmaTV on Android TV and Android phones and tablets. This guide explains what the app is (and what it isn't), where to get it on each device, how to sign in with your login details, and how it compares with the other players we suggest, so you can choose the best IPTV player for the screen you actually watch on.

What is IPTV Smarters Pro?

IPTV Smarters Pro is a player. It shows live channels, movies, series and a TV guide, but it contains no channels of its own. You add a subscription by entering the login details your provider sends you, and the app loads that provider's content.

Three points are worth knowing before you install it:

  • It is a third-party app. It is not made or sold by NigmaTV, and we don't control its updates, store listings or pricing.
  • Its name varies by platform. On Google Play the listing we recommend is "IPTV Smarters Pro"; on Apple's App Store and for Windows and Mac, our guides refer to "IPTV Smarters". Search for the exact name on your device.
  • It only works with a subscription. Without login details from a provider, the app opens to an empty sign-in screen.

Where to download IPTV Smarters Pro, device by device

Always install from the official store for your device or from the app's official website. Here is what we recommend per device, from our setup guide:

How to install IPTV Smarters Pro and sign in with NigmaTV

You need your NigmaTV login details first. Once payment is confirmed, you receive your login details and setup guide: an Xtream Codes login (server URL, username and password) and an M3U playlist. No subscription yet? The 24-hour free trial gives full access with no credit card required.

On Android TV, phones and tablets

  1. Open Google Play, search for IPTV Smarters Pro and install it.
  2. Open the app and tap Add New User (on Android TV the button may read "Add Playlist").
  3. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API or M3U URL.
  4. Enter any name you like for the profile, then the details from your activation message.
  5. Tap Add User. Your channels load, sorted by category.

On Apple TV, iPhone and iPad

  1. Open the App Store and install IPTV Smarters (or GSE Smart IPTV on iPhone and iPad).
  2. Choose Add New User, then Login with Xtream Codes.
  3. Enter the server URL, username and password, then save.

On Windows and Mac

  1. Download IPTV Smarters from its official website (Windows) or the Mac App Store.
  2. Add a new user with your Xtream Codes details, then save.
  3. Prefer something lighter? VLC plays the M3U playlist directly: on Windows use Media → Open Network Stream, on Mac File → Open Network, then paste the playlist URL.

Xtream Codes or M3U: which login to choose

In IPTV Smarters Pro, Xtream Codes is usually the better choice. You type three short details instead of one long link, and the app loads the TV guide (EPG) and the on-demand library in separate sections. The M3U playlist is the fallback for players that don't accept Xtream Codes, such as VLC and SS IPTV.

Whichever you use, type the details exactly as written, with no extra spaces and the right upper and lower case. Most NigmaTV sign-in errors come from a single wrong character.

Getting around the app with NigmaTV

Once you're signed in, the home screen shows sections for live TV, movies, series and catch-up; labels may vary slightly between versions. A few habits make daily use easier:

  • Use the TV guide. NigmaTV includes an EPG, so you can see what's on now and next without opening every channel.
  • Build a favorites list. With 61,000+ live channels, favorites save a lot of scrolling.
  • Use catch-up TV on channels that offer it to watch something you missed.
  • Browse the on-demand library. It holds 160,000+ movies and series, all included in every plan.

If NigmaTV channels don't load after sign-in, close the app completely, restart the device and check the details again. Our IPTV not working guide covers the next steps.

Best IPTV player: IPTV Smarters Pro or another app?

There is no single best IPTV player for every device. The best IPTV player is the one that runs well on your hardware and accepts your login format. IPTV Smarters Pro is a solid default on Android and Apple devices because it handles Xtream Codes, the TV guide and on-demand content in one place. TiviMate is the other app we recommend on Android TV. VLC is simple and free of extras, but it only plays a playlist. On Samsung and LG Smart TVs, our guide uses SS IPTV.

Since NigmaTV gives you both Xtream Codes and M3U, you can try a second player on the same device whenever you like; your subscription doesn't change. Keep in mind that each device that streams at the same time counts toward your plan. Plans cover 1 to 4 devices: for example, $13.99 for 1 month on 1 device, or $120 for 12 months on 2 devices, which is $10 a month.

Install safely

  • Download IPTV Smarters Pro only from an official store or the app's official website.
  • Never pay a stranger who claims to sell a "preloaded" version of the app. The app has no channels to preload.
  • Never post your login details or a screenshot of them online.
  • NigmaTV support only uses WhatsApp, 24/7, through the contact page.
