General

NigmaTV: what is IPTV and how does it work?

What is IPTV?

IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) is TV delivered over your internet connection instead of cable, satellite or an antenna. You watch live channels and on-demand movies and series in an app on your Smart TV, streaming stick, phone or computer.

What does IPTV stand for?

IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television: television sent over the same internet protocol (IP) that carries web pages and video calls, rather than over a cable or satellite network.

What is NigmaTV?

NigmaTV is an IPTV service: 61,000+ live channels and 160,000+ movies and series on demand, in 8K, 4K, Full HD, HD and SD. You watch in an IPTV player app on your Smart TV, Firestick, phone or computer, with no cable box and no satellite dish.

More about NigmaTV

What is an IPTV service?

An IPTV service is the provider that supplies the channels and the on-demand library, plus the login you use to reach them. The player app on your device is separate: it shows what the service provides. NigmaTV is the service; IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate or VLC are players.

How do IPTV services work?

The service streams its channels over the internet. You install an IPTV player app, enter the M3U playlist or Xtream Codes details (the server URL, your username and your password) that NigmaTV sends you, and the app loads the channels, the movies and series and the TV guide.

Can I get a refund from NigmaTV?

Refunds are generally not offered once your login details have been delivered and the service has been used. The exceptions: (a) you were charged in error, for example a duplicate payment; (b) you did not receive your login details within 24 hours of payment; or (c) the service was completely unavailable for an extended period because of a fault on our side that we could not fix. Requests must be made within 48 hours of the issue, and we answer within 2 business days. That's why we recommend the free trial first.

They're the two ways to load your subscription into a player. An M3U playlist is a single link you paste into the app. Xtream Codes is a login made of the server URL, your username and your password: choose the Xtream Codes option in the app and enter them.

What video quality does NigmaTV offer?

8K, 4K, Full HD, HD and SD. The quality you get depends on your device, your internet speed and the source quality of each channel.

What internet speed do I need for IPTV?

We recommend at least 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K and 50 Mbps or more for 8K. The more stable the connection, the smoother the picture, especially when several screens watch at the same time.

Troubleshooting

NigmaTV not working? Buffering and playback fixes

My IPTV stopped working. What should I do?

First check that your internet connection works, then close and reopen the app and restart your device and your router. Also check that your plan hasn't expired (most apps show the expiry date in the account info) and that the app is up to date. If the problem continues, message NigmaTV support on WhatsApp.

Contact support

How do I stop buffering?

Use an Ethernet cable rather than Wi-Fi, or move the router closer to the TV. Restart your router, clear the app's cache and pause other heavy downloads on your network while you watch. You can also pick a lower quality (Full HD or HD instead of 4K); we recommend 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K and 50 Mbps or more for 8K.

How do I clear the IPTV app's cache?

On Android, Android TV and Firestick: Settings, Applications, choose your IPTV app, then Clear cache (not Clear data, which would remove your login). On other devices, uninstall and reinstall the app if needed and enter your login details again.

A channel isn't working. What should I do?

Try another channel to check that your connection works, then reload the channel list in the app. If the channel still won't play, report it to our team on WhatsApp with its name so they can check it.

Report a channel

The TV guide (EPG) isn't showing. What should I do?

In your app's settings, update the TV guide (EPG) or reload your playlist, then wait a moment. Also check that your device's date and time are correct. If the guide stays empty, let our team know.
